MEET OUR LEADERSHIP
Meet Charray Williams, the Owner and CEO at ASI Food Safety. After working many roles at ASI, Charray became the controller under the previous owners. When they decided to retire in early 2016, Charray acquired ASI and it has grown under her leadership. Charray is dedicated to the food industry at both the cGMP level and GFSI level of compliance. ASI customers are her number one priority and she strives to keep expenses down so her customers do not overpay customary travel expenses. Not only does Charray have a passion for food safety, she is a dedicated supporter and foster for St. Louis Stray Rescue. To date, she has had two foster fails and many other furry friends have started their new life with Charray.

Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
Tyler has been responsible for the certification process of over 3000+ audits annually and manages ASI’s employees and contracted auditors around the world. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of ASI, Tyler also trains and has consulted several different major food and beverage companies around the world to help improve their food safety practices.
In 2019, Tyler started a non-profit organization called Show Me Food Safety. This organization provides resources to small food manufacturers and growers in Missouri to help improve their food safety practices and get on the shelves of local grocery stores.

Meet Andrew (Drew) Mason, the Compliance Manager at ASI. Drew joined ASI in March of 2018 and has enjoyed being part of the Food Safety Industry ever since. He loves working with ASI’s diverse auditor pool and clientele to provide a great service and ensure compliance. Drew has a background in Loss Prevention and Animal Welfare but since joining ASI, has continued to develop his love for the Food Industry and supporting those suppliers who are devoted to safe practices. In his free time, Drew has advanced his food safety knowledge and has become certified in Food Defense, Internal Auditing, HACCP and Preventive Controls and is excited about expanding that knowledge base. Drew is committed to building a strong Internal Support Team at ASI and looks forward to playing a part in developing ASI’s position as a leading food safety service provider. Andrew sees his work with ASI as a great opportunity to make a direct impact on the future of our food chain and ensure the safety of all consumers.

Director of Growth and Public Relations
Matt Regusci has almost 20 years of experience in the international and national food safety & compliance certification world. In 2008, he co-founded Azzule, an online compliance supply chain data management company and the parent company of PrimusGFS, a GFSI food safety standard.
After Azzule, Regusci became a co-owner of WQS, a certification body that performs over 10,000 audits across the Western Hemisphere annually.
Matt has been on the board of CSQ Certification for 2 years and was recently added to the ASI team as Director of Growth and Public Relations
Director of Business Development
Meet Kim Sobotka, the Director of Business Development at ASI. After working many roles at ASI, Kim landed in the Sales and Business Development role. Kim has been dedicated to the food industry for over 17 years, guiding thousands of companies through training, consultations and certification to both cGMP standards and GFSI standards. She received training in Principles of HACCP and is an Implementing SQF Systems professional. She has a passion for food safety and has spent years in the industry to make sure others share in her passion. No matter if the company is large or small, Kim loves working with these companies to understand their goals, so that she can provide the best options to achieve them, directly and cost effectively.

Meet John Hoskins, the Operations Manager at ASI. John has a BS and MS in chemistry and has quality control experience in both food and pharmaceuticals. While John was obtaining his master’s in chemistry he worked in both production and quality control for a craft brewery in Missouri. After graduate school, he went into the pharmaceutical industry where he worked in quality control, process development, and program management for several years prior to joining ASI in 2019. John holds several professional certifications in HACCP, Preventive Controls, SQF Lead Auditor, Internal Auditing, ISO 17065, Food Defense, and Food Fraud to name a few. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations at ASI, John manages the training program and GFSI certification process. John states the reason he joined ASI is because he gets to work for a small, family-owned business where his work has a direct impact on customers and consumers lives instead of just being another number in a corporate system.

Database and Business Development Manager
Meet Andrew Wood, the Database and Business Development Manager at ASI. Andrew joined the ASI team in January of 2015, where he learned that ASI and the food safety industry was an excellent fit due to his passion for food. We can safely say that he is the “foodie” in the office! Andrew has helped many companies, both big and small, achieve their food safety goals with a step by step approach. With this, he always listens to the customer needs before making any recommendations. Developing long-term relationships with clients through goal achievement brings much fulfillment to Andrew. Outside of ASI, you can find Andrew beside his grills, or on the golf course.

Mac’s has BY FAR the best burger I have had in my life, and I have had many burgers. Scheduling and Quoting Coordinator
Meet Daniel (Dan) Clark, SQF Scheduling & Quoting Coordinator at ASI. Dan joined ASI in June of 2020 and is excited to continue his progression in the Food Safety Industry with ASI. He enjoys working with diverse groups of people and developing solutions to his client’s potential issues. Daniel attended Missouri State University for Marketing Sales Management and has held several part-time and full-time management positions. He prides himself on his critical thinking as well as his ability to communicate well through difficult situations, to provide the best outcome for all ASI clientele. He is proud to be working for a family-owned company, where he feels truly valued as a part of the team. He is currently certified in Food Defense Awareness and Advanced HACCP courses, with plans to complete more throughout his future in the industry. He looks forward to providing the best service possible to customers, in both a timely and trustworthy manner, while contributing to safer food for the public.

Scheduling and Travel Coordinator
Meet Aaron Buchek, cGMP Scheduling and Travel Coordinator at ASI. Aaron joined ASI in January of 2020 as an intern finishing his last semester of college. In May of 2020 following his graduation, he was welcomed as a full time member of the ASI team. Aaron attended Fontbonne University where he recently obtained his BS of Accounting. While the Accounting side of the company was what Aaron originally joined for, he has enjoyed taking on additional roles in scheduling and helping auditors coordinate their travel plans. These additional roles have allowed him to better understand the industry and the needs of the customer while also giving him the much needed social interactions that are often not found within the Accounting field.

Greg has spent virtually his entire career in the food industry, including managing restaurants, overseeing training operations, and directing Regulatory Compliance for 2 very large corporations. Somewerhe in there, he spent 7 years as a health inspector and another 7 as Chief of the Wisconsin Department of Health Food Safety Program.
Today, Greg lives a block from the beach near Daytona Beach, Florida, and enjoys abundant sunshine and fresh seafood while still doing his part in the food industry. As Technical Director for ASI Food Safety, Greg oversees the audits of several full or part-time professionals – always with the goal of improving consistency and uniformity by looking at what is important to help our clients protect their businesses and their customers. By getting out and doing some audits himself, Greg is maintaining his lifelong practice of being able to see the operation from the side of the owner/manager as well as the inspector/builder.
Meet Cynthia Parker, the Administrative Assistant at ASI and “The Voice” of ASI. Cynthia has been with ASI for over 20 years where she is often the first interaction with our wonderful clients.
She is in charge of sending out ASI audit results and certificates.
“Working at ASI has been quite an educational experience for me. I have learned what it takes to keep our food supply chain flowing good and healthy. Getting our food from farm to table is much more complex than I could have ever imagined. Not just the food itself, but also the packaging; which is something I never considered before.”
I am passionate about food safety and working at ASI has made me more aware of the products I purchase and where they come from. It has also made me more aware of my general food safety practices at home.
